Comments: How to sharpen a chainsaw

 The goal of this first video was to provide the basics of sharpening a saw chain, which seems to have worked well. My next video will convey the other aspects of sharpening; none of which would include information about "pitch". But if you are interested, "pitch" with regard to a saw chain, is simply a measurement of distance between the centers of any three rivets and dividing the measurement by two. The result is the pitch of the chain in inches (e.g. 3/8"). The pitch size in inches is stamped on each depth gauge. Indeed, "pitch" has nothing to do with sharpening a chain.

Great presentation. now show us all the pitch stuff for each chain size...3/8, 7/32, 5/32, 3/16 etc.
